Is it normal to feel light headed after two sips of beer

Just tried alcohol for the first time like 5 minutes ago, stopped after 3 sips because I was already feeling light headed, my head is also starting to throb as I am typing this, is it normal for first time drinkers?

It tastes bad.

    No, that is not normal at all. Are you on a lot of medications? Is it possible that someone could have slipped you something in your drink?

      I'm taking PTU for my thyroid problem, and I'm home alone drinking from a freshly opened can of beer

    The light headedness only persisted for a moment after taking a sip, it's not for long, maybe that's normal
