Is it normal to feel like a 6 year old?

I'm an adult but sometimes I'm in the headspace of a 6 year old child and I start enjoying childish things that I would usually have no interest in. I also start having trouble with things like spelling/grammar, basic math and pretty much anything that would be too complex for a 6 year old. I feel strange looking in the mirror because it freaks me out that I look so old and I get suprised when I'm able to reach something that's high up because I feel like I'm supposed to be a lot smaller. I also get confused and scared when someone mentions sex even though I would have no problem with it when in the mind set of an adult.

Oh god, what if op was at work while being in this child like mindset?

I picture tantrums and wanting to play with action figures instead of doing the work.

    It is when you're 7.

I love that! That's why I'd rather teach younglings than teens. I'm luckily stuck with 7 to 9 year-olds. We get along better than we should. Kids are so creative, way better than most adults!

      You're a teacher? Cool.

PS: I feel like a 5 year old everytime I drive through a tunnel... Windows down, floor it, listen to the engine revving, turbo noises and have a very wide grin on my face and then laugh.
