Is it normal to feel like you sound self-centered on fb?

I recently gained enough confidence to post things about myself on FB. But FB makes people focus on themselves a lot (scientists says that our brain rewards us for talking about ourselves online.) I always feel like I'm being self centered by talking about myself so much, but I don't have any siblings, and posting about my BF or my BFF (who's in the army right now anyways) might make me sound needy. Curse you, FB.

    I don't use Facebook I don't have anything I feel I need to share with 1200 of my closest friends. My actual friends already know what I want to share with them theres no reason to tell the world.

    yeah i psycho analyze myself on there and have to massively filter myself or I'd be posting things all the time. I dont want people to think i'm full of myself just because i overexpress myself so sometimes when i have a thought i go do something creative with it instead, like a drawing, a painting, a poem etc

    If your posting pics of yourself in a bikini with the caption "Check out my new sunglasses" your an attention whore, if you've actually done something and your sharing it on FB, what's fucking wrong with that.
