Is it normal to forget a language u learnt for 3 years

i was learning korean when i was in college , i did for thre days i even was doing good in my classes , but after one year i started forgetiing vocuabulary , its been two years and now i barely recognize the writing system with and i cant form a single sentence
i also studying japanese for 7 years now , im so afraid i ll lose all what i learnt these years if i stop reading japanese books
what can i do ??

    If you don't use it, you lose it. Just make reading Japanese books a habit and you'll be fine.

          Their English is fine , its much more important to have several languages at a level which people will understand you than your native tongue and perfect English. Few native English speakers speak it perfectly themselves.

    I am actually trying to teach myself Japanese. My house is covered in sticky notes that I put on furniture and stuff with the japanese word for it
