Is it normal to get annoyed with the "recycled" questions on this site? I go to answer a question and then I see that it's 2 years old, 6 years old, etc. I wonder, is the OP still sitting around after all these years waiting for our answer to his/her problems or questions? What's the point of even responding to something that old?
I think it's interesting how lots of different types of questions never go out of style, and how some things could be affecting someone today just as much as it was a couple of years ago. The OP, if he or she is even still around, probably doesn't see (or care about) the recent answers if the question was from a while ago, but nonetheless it's fun to look at the issues people were experiencing or thoughts they might have been having.
I am guilty of responding to ghost threads on the sailing sites, and it can be a bit embarrassing. Maybe I'll learn to check the date, one day.

simulator time? With enough current sea time y'all don't need that stuff, I guess, cause I've never even seen one. I renew every 5 tears by supplying sea time and a medical, plus MONEY now.
I was just doing doing that actually and when to go into their profiles 9years ago the comments are erased it doesn't make since and the algorithm needs to be updated because there's soon many posts the original is no longer useful.

I just came back after a long while of being absent, and checked on my profile.
I deleted literally all of my "stories" - because I wrote them MANY years ago, and was as teenage and sheltered as a child can be! They were stupid!
Emails with responses did flow into my account regularly, but I deleted them without even glancing at their contents.
Though, I still respond to old posts - no harm in it.
I prefer to use "recent comments" instead of "new comments," so I fucling HAAAAATE it when some cunt answers a bunch of 5 year old posts like they're new. I feel ya, OP.
