Is it normal to get depressed easily?

Is it normal to get depressed easily? Like I find myself getting really depressed with little things, like if I use up all my data or if I forget to pack something or I can't find anything to eat, just really basic small things like this make me depressed and I can't understand why.

Excercise more and smile even when your pissed off or sad and shower every morning and everytime you get a negative thought tell your self to shut it could be worse I could have less. Do nice things for other people thats what I do otherwise I suck and feel sorry for myself.

There's a difference between feeling down and depressed. If you're feeling depressed, you can't really take yourself out of bed, you feel nothing but emptiness, you have a huge void in life.

    Is that you?

I really do not think you are doing yourself any favors by self diagnosing yourself.
Every body gets a bit frustrated with themselves when they make a mistake, but you probably can't call it depression.
If you think you really have a problem, then you should go to a doctor and get a proper diagnosis.

I'm clinically depressed, so that's basically my normal state of being.

Except there is often little sympathy for the depressed and suicidal on here.

It helps to focus on the responses one can relate to as opposed to some of stupid preconceived notions of people who don't know what they're talking about. Most of the types who dismiss those of us who suffer from crippling and suicidal depression as weak and or selfish have never experienced it themselves. Consequently they don't know their asses from a hole in the group when it comes to mental health issues.

A good troll on the other hand is something to be savored.
