Is it normal to get distracted when you're talking to someone who has a pimple?

Many times I just can't believe people would go out like that, feel like saying "why don't you just clean that, look, it's already yellow, it wants out, use some rubbing alcohol and cotton bud, set it free"
It's like I'm talking to someone and can't ignore this pimple on their face.

I know some people think it's healthier to just leave them be and wait for them to disappear on their own, but when they're already with this yellow tip it seems cleaner to me to just rub some alcohol on them, and clean the area.
I almost feel like volunteering to clean it rather than having it staring at me the whole conversation.

People know if they have a pimple and they aren't doing it to be a bother to you. Just be glad you don't have it

If you say anything to them, they might take offence and burst it into your eyes.

Wow, you should try talking to TEENAGERS. There's a challenge.

  • I must also confess (in case it wasn't obvious) I'm one of those people who just love popping pimples.

Wow this was worded hilariously but I know what you mean.
A high school science teacher of mine had terrible acne and I wasn't performing too well so I had personal tutoring with her here and there---- they too were yellow and /or sometimes bleeding as we spoke and I would let her know but she didn't take offense.

I actually can't stand pimples on my face probably because that's how I feel ppl will feel lol so I deal with temporary scarring because I'm prone to "set it free"

    Lovely details :)

pimples can usually be avoided by washing your face often. In teens it can be caused by hormones, drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium. Also oral contraceptives and some foods.
I just try to look them in the eye not their face. Some people have it so bad you can't help but notice. I see it often in dope users.
