Is it normal to get food in beard

Been growing my beard out a bit and getting some overhang on the mustache area. It makes me susceptible to getting my drink or food in it a bit. Do women care about this or do women who like beards just understand that it comes with the territory? Do I need to like carry wet naps with me or just go to the bathroom after each meal
