Is it normal to get lightheaded when sexually aroused

Any kind of sudden sexual arousal causes this, but it's especially pronounced when I'm watching porn, masturbating, or thinking about doing either of those things. It's worst when I'm overstimulated for any reason (i.e., amphetamines or high anxiety) and just the thought of sexual pleasure is overwhelming.

My heart beats faster, I get butterflies in my stomach, and I'll sometimes get double vision. Sometimes my brain just shut down and I get intensely sleepy, which is a good cure for insomnia. I've heard of people "swooning in ecstasy," but this seems a little extreme, given how desensitized I am.

    Happens to me sometimes. When I get rrrrreeeallly excited or something. I feel dizzy and a bit nauseous and stuff. If it happens ALL the time and its severe you might have a problem though. The sleepy part is what bothers me. Your brain shouldn't be releasing those chemicals while ur getting geared up. You might have a hormone imbalance or something.

    There is a strong bloodflow away from the brain and towards all sorts of other activities. However, in this case you are being quite affected. I would have an uncomfortable conversation with a doctor (I've had several, you'll get over it.) to find out if there's a vascular issue causing such an extreme reaction.

    I sometimes lose my hearing (like my ears stop working) for a few minutes after a STRONG ORGASM.. it's like turning the volume down on a TV, literally EVERYTHING is muted out to my hearing for awhile. Then it goes back to normal soon after. I get light-headed too!

    I THINK THIS IS PRETTY COMMON!!!

      That's definitely normal. It doesn't happen to me, but I've heard it reported. What makes mine weird is that the mere thought of looking at porn or touching myself can give me the vapors.

      It happens even if I don't get an erection. In fact, given that it's worse when I'm overstimulated, there's actually less circulation down there than usual. Thanks for the ego boost, though.

      I'm pretty sure it's cataplexy, which is where you go weak in response to strong or sudden feelings. It usually just happens with narcolepsy, but I get it in a lot of situations to a lesser extent.
