Is it normal to go from rocket scientist to tattoo artist?
Is it normal to go from wanting to take the path of science to better the world to wanting to be a tattoo artist? From early on in my teens science was my passion. Chemistry, physics, engineering... I loved it all. I dreamt of being an aerospace engineer (rocket scientist). For awhile, I was sure of my future. But then, unexpectedly, my passion for science died like a flame doused with water. Then another flame was lit when I had gotten my third tattoo (I was 16 or 17) - I wanted to become a tattoo artist. I wanted to create art on a living canvas. Tattoos are still my passion today. How does one go from wanting a steady, well paying job that contributes to the future of humanity to wanting to dig in people's skin with a needle?
