What a biased post! There's no option for people who do love animals , it seems you have only given options that suit you.
I love animals. Nothing is more satisfying than slowly stretching a kitten's neck and listening to the panicked meows turn to high pitched gurgling and cracking bones.
everyone has a right to feel what they feel sometimes i hate animals sometimes i love them.
I hate cleaning their mess up and i hate it when my cat brings fleas into the house i also hate it when the animal wont allow me to clip its nails or they wont allow me to get rid of the fleas
however i do prefer their company more than humans because humans talk to much and demand to much energy.
I would not harm a animal though unless i need to eat them then i would be humane doing so.

humans arnt animals. they have sentience, which means they are aware of themselves and can think carefully and plan their actions. animals cant understand cause and effect(they just have preprogrammed responses we call instincts) humans have instincts too but can resist them if we choose.
That's just ignorance. It is kind of like assuming a mexican man thrives on primitive instincts and has no higher functioning thought because you cannot understand the spanish he speaks. Just because you cannot communicate directly with animals does not mean they have no feelings or higher thought. So do you hate the mexican man? Huh? Do you??
