Is it normal to hate customers

So I am working at a restaurant. This annoyingly tall Swedish bitch who smiles too much with huge tits walks in says I gave her the wrong order and she would like it made over. I laugh in her face tell her I never makes mistakes and that she is stuck with what I gave her. She didn't blow up at me. Just looked kind of confused. She leaves and comes back later and gets a refund. I don't think she should get a refund because I know what I heard. My boss said to curb my attitude too, and I don't think that is fair.He said he doesn't want to lose her as customer because she is been coming their for 5 years and has a lot of events catered their.

Your boss is right. Laughing in her face is childish. Grow up and realize that you make mistakes like everyone else.

Did you accidentally delete as sentence or two from the start of your post? It begins with "So".
By the way I'm surprised you still have a job!

You are an incompetent arrogant idiot. Who deserves to be spat at. No one should be this rude to a customer. The correct thing to do is redo the meal. It's funny how someone who is working in the food service is such an arrogant little bitch.

Sadly, I have found that alot of customer service people just don't have manners towards their customers anymore. There were even a couple times I got rude treatment, then went to the manager about it, and they didn't even really care. Because the manager didn't see the rudeness himself, then he quickly goes and talks to her, then comes back and says "she says she didn't do anything wrong", and he totally believes her. Then she won't even apologize. Then if I try to say anything else, he gives me the "I'm done discussing this, now move along" attitude. They really didn't care, it was obvious. I'm comparing these recent incidents to a couple incidents way back about 20 years ago where when I then thought someone serving me was being rude, I say something, and immediately they apologized looking very sincere and looking like they felt really bad about it. You could see back then they really didn't mean it. People still had a certain level of conscience back then. Back to the much more recent incidents, now they just don't care! Anyway, this was several months ago, and I gave up confronting ever since because I realized in this new world today, it's useless trying. I've even read a couple websites saying how "the customer is always right" has become an old fashioned and bygone thing. It's very true.

This is what TripAdvisor and similar sites were invented for.

Posting a negative review won't solve the problem you experienced, but the only thing businesses really understand is the bottom line. Losing potential customers matters.

If nothing else, a negative review will probably result in the manager having to find time to respond. If that happens often enough, the obnoxious staff person is likely to find that they suddenly have a lot of free time on their hands.

The heading of your question should be, "Is it normal my boss hasn't fired the obnoxious asshole who works for him?"

It's interesting how you felt the need to mention that the customer was a woman, tall and Swedish. Do you find physically imposing women challenging? Or maybe it's just non-Amuricuns who annoy you?

    This is amusing too:

"...I laugh in her face tell her I never makes mistakes..."

You may have the super-human skills you claim when you're flipping burgers, but you definitely make mistakes when writing English.

If you find dealing with customers too challenging, the solution is pretty damn obvious: find a job where you don't have to deal directly with customers.
