I don't see how religion is the cause of many current problems. Not that religion has only ever been a force for good in the past, but it hasn't all been bad.
I think greed, lust, envy, etc. are the root causes of modern problems.
Both religion and a lack of religion can be used negatively. It's the fanatical ones that are awful.
If religions helps a person improve themself, then good for them. It's usually enforcing it unto others where it becomes a mess
Without them is waay better. Now you can be in elementry school and wake up at 6am as boy then at 12pm change into a dress and become a girl. Since we've turned away from religion EVERYTHING has gotten better. Our society is much stronger this way
As a Christian I find that perfectly understandable. I do too, sometimes. Including my own.
That's your personal opinion, and there are plenty of who feel the opposite is true. It's just another opinion.
Well, majority of people have things they hate.
Religion is no exception.
