Is it normal to hate sharing a bathroom?

I got an offer to do some work in another city for a semester, but would have to shack up with four other girls in a tiny room-share, with one bathroom for all five of us. I don't mind small spaces, tiny shared bedrooms, even sharing kitchen shelves/refrigerator... But I hate-hate-hate sharing a bathroom! No matter how much or how often I clean the bathroom other people destroy it in like five minutes. And some of the things people do in bathrooms blows my mind. Where the hell do people grow up? In the forest?

Does anyone else feel like me--hating sharing a bathroom?

    I feel the same way. I hate it when people finish using bottles of shampoo or conditioner and just leave the empty bottles in the shower. I hate it when people leave their lost hair stuck on the drain or all over the floor. Hate seeing used sanitary pads or tampons in the bin without at least wrapping them away.

    Yeah. I hate sharing bathrooms. Could always be worse though. Try communal bathrooms at a hostel or something

      Hostels don't coat $1600/month. But I definitely hate walking into a shared bathroom and having to see soiled tampons on the floor next to the waste bin. And at least at the hostels I've stayed at in the USA and Europe, the bathrooms are cleaned daily. But when you share a space with other girls, you have to arrange to clean the bathroom, and no one wants to do it, so you end up doing it.

      Yesterday I decided to stay at school in Boston. NYC is waaaaaay too expensive, especially for what it offers. At least for this girl.

    Girls have gross bathroom habits until they share with a guy. Until that happens, there is nothing you can do.

    I love licking strangers' shit stains off the toilet bowl. I love licking chunky diarrhea from the floor. I am full of love.
