Is it normal to hate the word orbs?

Self explanatory. The word 'orbs' used to describe a person's eyes in typical fan fiction is a serious bother to my reading experience and takes me completely out of the story.

Ex: Timmy got down on one knee and took the tiny box out of his pocket.

"Sarah, will you marry me?" he asked in a trembling voice.

"Yes!" she cried, staring into his bright green orbs.

    Orbs can also be used as a descriptor for ladies breasts. I like orbs. As long as they are real ones. I don't like fake tits.
