Is it normal to have a blood blister inside my mouth?

I just noticed a small bump inside my cheek, right about where my teeth rub against the inside of my cheek. Upon inspection, it’s a blood blister. It doesn’t hurt at all. I’m going to wait a few days to see if it goes away before I go to a doctor.

Has anyone else experienced this?

EDIT: it has popped and is gone now. I didn’t even notice it popped. Thanks for the herpes tips guys.

    • It is definitely a blood-filled raised blister. 100% sure it’s a blood blister. I guess I was more so wondering if anyone else has had this before! Lol

Sounds more like herpes simplex. I'd focus on who's body part your mouth has been on lately if I were you. And was there a funny smell?

    • It’s just one blood blister. I did however have sex with a new guy about 2-3 weeks ago. That’s got me too worried! It doesn’t look anything like herpes simplex at all. I don’t think it is based on what it looks like at the moment.
