Is it normal to have a really gory dream

I had a really gross gory dream, I dreamt that my brother murdered a few people on halloween and I was stuck in a room with him he threw one of the dead guys outside on the street put a hose into his body and the other side of the hose into a pump and pumped the guy up somehow and meanwhile a bunch of people came into the room including mom and the dead guys family and other people too and they went by the window to check whats going on? and at that moment my brother pressed a button that exploded the dead guy and his guts went all over the window infront of his mom whom fainted. It was the most disgusting dream ever I feel sick like im going to actually puke when I think of it but I have that image in my brain now so you're welcome to have it as well.

I literally never watch gore or anything like that either because I actually and have before passed out just from seeing blood. So its not something I have watched on tv. And my brother is not a psycho or anything lol so I dont know why he was in my dream.
