Three years isn't a big age difference.

I’d say it depends on the people, if he’s got another year and a half of highschool and she’s in her third year of uni it could be inappropriate as they’re in such different life stages. But if he’s in his last last year, and her her second year perhaps it wouldn’t feel so bad?

Follow your gut, if it feels wrong end it.

Completely normal in my opinion. It is only 3 years. My parents are 9 years apart and my sister and her husband are 10.

Perfectly normal, don’t understand why you would even need to ask!

I'd say in most situations it would be normal.

In a few situations it would not be. Those situations would involve the older person (in this case the young lady) exploiting a younger person (in this case the young man) where the older person clearly is in a more powerful job/social/political situation.

Its legal. Not to mention the age gap isn't that much of a big of a deal.

ahh,,,no,,that's one hell of an age gap, i mean 4 years apart? noo,, def not. i see it this way, you're 20, and therefore a legal adult, he/she/they're a 17 yr old, still technically a minor, ya'll should def split before legal trouble ensues.

Its legal if theyre 4 years apart. Look up romeo and juliet law. Even a 14yo with a 10yo is legal.

it's still immoral, because the 17 year old is technically a kid, and because you're 20( a legal adult) it is wrong
