Is it normal to have a sex dream about your best friend? what does it mean?

Yesterday I had a dream where I (a girl) had sex with my Best friend (a gay guy). We were in my kitchen and i was bent over my stove with him behind me. I remember us both moaning and him asking if it hurt (it was anal). And then I woke up. I don't like him like him romantically he's my best friend. But I've never connected to a guy emotionally like we have. I don't know what to do I'm scared that having had that mental image it may cause me to act differently around him. What do you think?

    You might have needed to poop and your mind converted it into a dream about anal sex with someone you know who probably engages in anal sex.

    The dream will fade in a day or two if you don't freak out about it.

      I found this funny because I can see why a straight person would think that, but the reality is much different. You are far more likely to find a straight man who wants to perform anal sex as a giver than a gay may. Putting aside the obvious fact that there are far more straight men to being with, many straight men fantasize about doing this, and/or actually do it. With gay men, more are thinking about and/or having it performed on them then there are thinking about performing it. The top to bottom ratio is way off in the gay community.

    You like him so much as a friend that you fantasize about taking your relationship to the next level, which is what normally happens. In this case you assume that because he's gay that he's into anal sex so you fantasize about him doing to you what you think he does with a gay friend that he would normally have sex with.
