Is it normal to have a wide range of taste in music?

Most people I know only like one genre, while I like multiple. I like pop, rap/hip-hop, r&b, soul, trap, electronic, kpop, romance, and a few others. I always thought it was normal, but from what I have been able to gather from people around me, it's not entirely normal.

    It's a good thing. Actual musicians invariably have quite eclectic tastes.

    That's really nice, music is a fantastic thing, and if you like many different musical genres, you are open to new amazing songs. Besides, you won't be an annoying fanboy.

    Yeah i like quite the variety as well but can't seem to get along with r&b and rap i don't know why.
