Is it normal to have brown period blood?

This is the first time that I've ever had brown period blood, it's always been red, never brown. Been brown the whole way through.

Its probly nothing to worry about it usually just means the flow is slower. If your really concerned consult your doctor or Ob/Gyn.

It's normal. But to be safe up your iron intake and folic acid close to your period.

In my teens and twenties I had red periods but now that I'm in my early forties my period blood is dark brown and the flow is slower which better. I voted Normal.

Super normal. The color of the blood can depend on a lot of things, most of them benign.

Trust me, this is normal. My period blood is a mid color red and I am 100% healthy. I was concerned because as a kid I was taught "your menstural blood should be a rust color" so I thought my internal/vaginal opening was bleeding from my tampons. I asked my doctor and she had a look around and just explained I had a lighter color blood then what I was taught and that is 100% normal.
