Is it normal to have imagination time

Is it normal as an adult, when I get bored I lay down and work on a story that's constantly running through my mind? I would like to write the story down but I'm afraid no one will like it. It's a bit sadistic, but I think it's good, anyway is it normal for me as an adult to spend hours a day inside my own mind, I think it's a waste of time but I like it so much. I'm practically in love with the character I made

    I know how it feels, I have "Imagination time" too. I just put on my music and pace around while images and stories flood my brain. It's awesome.

    I think you should write it. As a writer myself I don't much care what others think as long as I believe its a masterpiece.

    Yes, of course. I always write all kinds of stories just for fun, and even draw manga when I'm bored ;)

    If you love the character, so will other people.
    I'd write it down if I were you, even if you don't plan to show anyone.

    Nothing wrong with what you are doing. I think you should get over your fear and write the story down. Who knows? You might even get it published. There's certainly no harm in writing it down.

    I don't see anything wrong with that. You should consider writing it down, who knows, it might be a million dollar story.

    It's fine everyone has there own escapes from reality. I wish i could do what you do but i just settle for gaming at the moment.
