Is it normal to have itchy scalp when sweating?

I don't have nits, I wash enough but not too much, I have a bit of dandruff, I scratch the back of my scalp till it bleeds and scabs over, it's not my shampoo so it must be the heat. IIN?

I'm scratching my own head in puzzlement: sweat anywhere can cause itching, how can you not know that?

You need medicated shampoo, eg Head & Shoulders, and if you've been washing your hair every day, stop it, you're drying your scalp out.

I can get this too sometimes. Use Denorex mentholated anti-dandruff shampoo with 3% salicylic acid. It feels good on irritated skin and it helps heal the scabs. I have eczema and I use steroidal cream to control breakouts. Maybe consider seeing a dermatologist?

The back of my head itches a lot when I sweat. I have to force myself not to scratch or I have the same problem as you, sores.
