You're having anxiety / stress about something in real life. Try doing something relaxing especially before bed. Meditation, exercising, going to a spa, listen to music, take a bubble bath, get a massage etc.
Play some relaxing music before and while you're asleep. It should help. Alternatively, you can play the audio of someone talking. It keeps you company because, it is as if there's another person in the room with you.
You are probably feeling a little down lately haven't you? I had the same problem. I once even dreamed that Putin started World war 3. Gezz that was on terrible dream! :D

pixie44 is correct, bad dreams are often signs of stress and anxiety. If you like tea, I'd recommend Tulsi and Lavender before bed. Did wonders for me :) Good luck
