Is it normal to have random indents on your fingertips?

A few weeks ago, I noticed random indents on my right pointer, middle and index fingers. These indents are random lines and are maybe 3x deeper than my fingerprints. I thought they would go away but they never did.

    Google fingerprint and look at images of real fingerprints. I'm sure everyone has random non-fingerprint lines on the pads of their fingers.

    I have no idea why. Just indicates that our skin isn't perfect, I guess.

    Maybe it's just an age thing, but I bet they've been there for a while and you just haven't noticed them. (I assume you don't spend a lot of time peering at your fingerprints, although I admit that would be more entertaining that some TV.)
