Is it normal to have strange attacks in sleep?
So, I've had these 3 times this year. I split them up into Mental and Physical and I'll describe what happened in the last times I had either. Their completely random by the way. The last mental one I had was actually last night, I was falling asleep when I started dreaming before I fell asleep, I was talking about height with a friend and the place I was in suddenly shifted and I was standing on a high building and it felt like I really was irl. I said 'wow' and it said it then kept repeating it over and over, getting louder and faster each time. At this point I realised what was happening and opened my eyes, awake, but everything was in greyscale, I tried moving but it seemed like I could only move in super slow motion and my senses were going crazy. It felt like seconds but it went on for almost 20 minutes according to my friend who was in a call with me on a 'call sleepover'. The last Physical one I had was a few months ago, it started the same, with the dream, it was someone walking with heels, and it started getting louder and louder and louder to the point it was extremely painful and my neck felt like it was going to explode from the pressure of it. My arms and legs were convulsing and I couldn't move a muscle, not even open my eyes but I had consciousness and was aware of everything around me. It was super super painful but then after a while suddenly stopped and calmed down and I was awake. If I had to describe it think of a control panel with all the things you can do as a person as buttons, imagine them all randomly switching on and off at random, out of wack. Theres other little things that happen during them but I always have consciousness, some things I just cant remember. Is any of this normal?
