Is it normal to have such gaming restrictions
So I'm 20 and my parents have decided that I can only play videogames for 1 hour after 6 pm on weekends. Is this too restrictive or am I being greedy?

I think the whole thing is weird. You're legally an adult and they are still putting rules on you like that.
It really doesn't matter whether you're 16 or 26, it's their home, so if you wanna live there, you shouldn't have a problem living by their rules. Trust me, when you are on your own, paying rent, utilities, for your clothes and food, you'll look back at your folk's home as a pretty cushy time in your life.
Perhaps you'd like to share with us what transpired to get them to institute this rule? Were we a bit of an addict?
What did you do in order to receive such a restriction? Unless you're addicted, this isn't normal.
Who the fuck hates video games? Anyway.. your parents are assholes but its your fault for still living at home at age 20, so..
Perhaps they want you to do something better of your time, like study or work. Their roof their rules. Yes you can decide and they should respect your decisions, I even believe 1 hour is barely enough time and perhaps even strict. But I also believe they think they do it for your own good. Talk to them and let them know you're being productive and are aware of how to manage your time. Good luck
That isnt right, you are an adult, you are entitled to do as you please, id say something if you were a young teen, then ya you would abide by that rule, perhaps you should move out if you are able to
I'm not being funny but if this is a rule their enforcing on a 20 year old, I suppose they would they restrict your time with friends as well?? that's the vibe im getting anyway
get out of there if your unhappy, I certainly would with a stupid rule like that.
Why are you still living at home at age 20, anyway? Don't like mommy and daddy's rules? Sack up and move out. I moved out when I was 18. I spend several hours a day gaming, at any time of the day that I like. Want that kind of freedom? Grow up and leave home.
