Is it normal to have this anxiety?

Over a year ago my anxiety started to get worse, basically I feel like I’m going to pass out, like I’m tipsy. But it only happens when I’m in a closed room with other people, like if we have school meetings in the library, if I’m in class, sometimes when I go to my boyfriends brothers house. I’m so tired of it, it happens everyday and it’s completly taking over my life. Graduation is in a couple weeks and i don’t want to have an attack then,,,so if anyone knows what to do that will help me please comment because I’m totally lost here

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

It may be a chemical imbalance. With care you will be fine.

I had anxiety which escalated into panic attacks. I my body started going limp and dizzy and I couldn't breathe. Eventually I got annoyed enough that I didn't want to live like that anymore so I did the thing that most scared me over and over again even though I felt like it would kill me. Just do whatever scares you.
Its been 3 years since my anxiety started and I didn't have to take meds because I didn't want to end up like people I know who relied on meds and to this day it's their crutch.

It's almost like claustrophobia or a fear of failing. Try putting yourself in situations where you don't feel comfortable but can get out of easily. When you feel panicky just leave. Get in your head nothing bad happened. Do this a few times and you will get used to it.

    Oh yeah. Dump the fiance.

  • You need to see a doctor. Until then take valerian, it’s an OTC homeopath with natural calming effects. Smells like horseshit but is flavorless and works. Take 2 about an hour before a stressful situation or before bed if you have trouble sleeping. Totally safe.

It would be best to talk to your doctor or a psychologist. Maybe your doctor could prescribe something to get you thru your graduation ceremony but that's a temporary fix.
