Is it normal to have unstoppable rage?

For the most part I am chill and reserved, but when someone does something to irritate/ anger me I just want to spazz out on that person. It takes an incredible amount of restraint to calm myself and not do anything too stupid. Little things that trigger me, drive me absolutely mental! This is the reason why I have not been in a physical altercation EVER. I’d beat whoever I am fighting to the brink death. I get into arguments sometimes and I have to stop myself from interacting back and ignore the person because I just feel myself getting more enraged. With all that being said, for the most part I am a relaxed person who’s just enjoying life.

Ellenna is right, it is not unstoppable. Maybe you were trying to say ''never ending rage'' which is a state of mind. I had it for years, it goes away as you grow up if you take care of yourself. Being angry is a sign of sadness. I like to think that if everyone around me is a retard, I'm the retard.

... but they're just thoughts. At least you're not the kind of person who just goes off, and punches people, because of whatever. You are strong, people who let their impulses control them are weak!

But it's not "unstoppable rage" because you don't act on it! If you mean that you're worried you may not be able to stop it one day, that's a different issue.

You can do something about that: I'd suggest Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, which would help you change thought patterns which are bothering you. Check it out online and there are books and also therapists who specialise in it.
