Is it normal to heavily bleed hours after a pap smear?

Yesterday morning, i had a pap smear for a 6 week checkup after having a baby.
Anyway after i left the hospital, i went home and when i used the bathroom, i wiped blood. Like a bloody snot type.. (SORRY FOR THE VULGARITY)
Same thing happened around 9 last night.
And then again this morning but a little bit more than yesterday.
Im positive its not my period as i just finished it last week.
All the pap smears i've had before, this didnt happen.
Im tempted to freak out but before i do, Is This Normal?

Why would you not go to a medical site? Why would you go here for an urgent medical thing? I mean fuck, even google would be better.

  • That doesn't sound normal. Can you not get in contact with the doctor that preformed you pap smear?

You had a baby. It's normal. If you bleed more than a full pad in a few hours, like heavy bleeding, then go to the hospital. The spotting, intermittent bleeding is normal.

Or you're starting your period again. Yay! Lol

don't freak out either way because it doesn't help anything. calmy look up the nearest emergency room and drive there and tell the receptionists about the bleeding and that your worried.
