Is it normal to keep your ac below 70?

My friends think I am weird because I keep the AC in my apartment below 70 year round, usually 68 or 69. I don't know anyone else that does that, but I thought people did it in other parts of the country where it's colder? I live in Florida so I run my AC literally all but a few days in January. Do I keep it too cold?

    Texas. I hate heat. My stat is at 68 atm. Normal as eating to me. My wife would beg for a blanket on Venus.

    I would hate to lay your electric bill. The most comfortable temperature is said to be 72 or 73 degrees. I keep my place at that temperature. But in the winter, we do 68 degrees to save electricity.

      My utilities, water and electric, are included in my rent :-)

    Supposedly 68 is the perfect healthy temperature for most humans.

    I'll do like the poster of the OP around 68° where it's borderline too cold. My KWPH is also 6.7 so I can do that without paying out the ass

        Ahhhh, right get your $ worth, they won't make a fuckin dime off of you. Haha, I'd do the exact same except with the windows slightly cracked for constant fresh air.

          Yep. I milk my electric use hahaha. But I live in an urban area, there is no "fresh air" outside to let in

    I keep my air conditioning on 40 Fahrenheit all of the time. The cool air keeps me invigorated.

    I also live in FL. I tend to keep it cold but not that cold. More like 73 ish. It feels different all the time to me which is annoying. I think it has to do with other factors like hydration, amount of exercise, etc.
