Is it normal to laugh so hard at the words 'standing ovation'

It's still a mystery to me on why I find the words 'standing ovation' to sound so funny. I used to laugh about 3 minutes straight when I read this said words, no kidding and proceeded to laugh so hard again if I were reminded of 'standing ovation'. I read the story about graduation before and it's not meant to be funny at all but since it used the words 'standing ovation', it totally put me into laughing fit for minutes. It's like magic words that can always guarantee to make me lose it whenever used. I was even chuckling when I wrote this post. What the hell is happening to me?

    To me it doesn’t sound that weird, although it’s not necessarily normal. There are certain things that amuse me too, but probably to a lesser extent. I find certain words and certain topics funny in ways that most people probably don’t.

    I think it sounds too much like 'ovulation'. A process which is not affected by whether or not one is standing. At least that's what came to my mind lol.

    I kind of get how that word could be amusing in an obscure way. I don’t think it’s “normal” in the sense that a lot of people find it funny, but it’s not hurting anybody.

    I find the Bulgarian word for duck to be very funny, so I guess it's normal.
