Is it normal to lick my dog.

When I am at home with my dog, I often call her to the sofa, ask her to sit and start licking her head. I start at her forehead and finish off at her wet nose. At this point, she gives me a lick on the nose and we part ways. Is this normal? The dog seems to enjoy it, so I don't think I am doing any harm.

    It's no harm to you or the dog. It just shows you love her. :) You may have parental instincts to clean her.I usually use soap and water. But this way works to, i suppose. :P

    completely normal........for the dog. But hey, it probably makes for a great bond between you and the dog. Just dont lick down there! Lol

    i think it's kind of sweet. yes it's a little weird, but your dog would probably just do that with another dog. its friendly and completely normal :)
