Is it normal to lie to my parents about what I do after school and how I spend my pocket money? Theres a pet shelter near my school for cats and dogs and every day I go spend my pocket money to buy some treats for those pets. After I had fed the treats I walk around with these dogs. My parents are mad at me because they think I'm not doing any afterschool activities. They don't know about where I spend my pocket money, but I'm afraid if they'd know I would get no pocketmoney any more. Is it normal to lie like that?

    Why can't you tell them you walk dogs at the pet shelter and keep Schtum about the money.
