Is it normal to live a boring, clockwork life?
Every morning, I wake up at 6 a.m. and shower and change into the same grey or blue button up shirt and black pants. My wife makes breakfast in the kitchen and our two kids eat and leave for school. I step into the same grey car, drive to the same office buildings, type my way to my next month's mortgage payment, go home and go to bed. I stopped seeking sex from my wife after she told me her menopause killed her sex drive. She was 35.
I scroll or swype or flick or whatever through social media pages and see images of friends I once had sailing the world, climbing foreign mountains and drinking wine in countries that I never heard of. Yet I sit here here, paying a mortgage and for college for two kids who I barely talk to and a wife who thinks I don't notice her elongated sexting sessions with her boss. Pun intended.
is it normal to live this way? Also, does LSD do permanent brain damage or it just messes with you then and there?
