Is it normal to look around the room while talking face to face to someone?

Eye contact is intimidating to me.

I always make direct eye contact when I'm talking to someone. Though, I've discovered that it does make a lot of ppl uncomfortable.

I do that a lot! I don't mean to, but the person I'm talking to gets offended and thinks I'm not paying attention(which I am). I don't know, I have a habit of doing that and sometimes I don't realize I'm doing it.

I keep eye contact. It's a habit that I learned from an early age, and it's also a sign of power in a way. The women I've dated in my life have all noted that my 'confidence' was what hooked them. Eye contact emanates an aura of confidence.

I always make eye contact, but I know when I'm making the other person uncomfortable, so I'll do the same thing as you.

I just think it's respectful to give someone your full attention.

I feel uncomfortable if I'm staring into somebody's eyes while talking to them.

i also find direct eye contact intimidating or awkward, i normally either look around the room or just stare at the floor.
