Is it normal to look through family members social media?

I haven't met most of my dad's side of the family because my dad hasn't really been in my life but I know their social media accounts.. I check on them from time to time cause I'm curious about them but it makes me feel like a creep.. Is it normal to check in on them even though we don't know eachother.. It's my half sister, my niece, and a cousin.. I'm scared to meet them right now.

    Even if you don't know them, it's normal to be curious about relatives and especially understandable if the person is a half-sibling.

    You shouldn't feel pressured to meet them, but if they seem like good people, then you shouldn't be afraid of that either. Genes don't account for everything we are, but they do count for something, and you might find that you have lots in common with them.
