I mean, it eats into my free time. I've been late for work, or even sometimes do it at work in the bathroom. I have done it in public and gotten strangers to join in, both male and female. Is this an obsession, and is it unhealthy? How many times a day is normal?
It's normal if you're female but if you're male all that whacking off can really drain you. I remember being young and jacking off a couple of times a day.
It's a long time ago now, but I know there were days in my teens and twenties when I managed more than five whack-off sessions. It's not like I've kept a record and it's several decades ago now so I can't be absolutely certain, but I'm pretty sure I did more than that on boring weekends even when I was in my late twenties.
Where we differ is that it never affected my work, and I sure as hell didn't do it in public because I really didn't want a criminal record. What if the next person you invite to join you turns out to be an undercover cop? What if some kid happens to see you, and their parents report you to the cops?
It does sound like it might be an obsession with you. Obsessions are sometimes okay - that's how people excel in their chosen field - but even though I think masturbation is generally a positive thing, it's always possible to have too much of a good thing, and it sounds like that might be happening here.
