Is it normal to miss blockbuster this much?
I just miss the days of walking into a nice clean store filled with the scent of dvds (and if your real old school VHS's) and popcorn and looking up the rows of movies to see what I wanted to rent. I didn't always go in with a movie in mind, sometimes I just went in just for the sake of going in and seeing I'd be interested in anything, and if not, there was no loss. Oh the good ole' days of looking through the dvds and being able to pick it up in its physical form, take it to the counter, and it was your for the next two the five days. I even miss trying to hurry to get it back in on its deadline. Sure, streaming is convenient, and if your internet is good it's pretty cheap and easy way to catch the latest releases just when they're released, but nothing can replace the warmth of a nice building that offers you whatever movie you've been longing to see regardless of how old it is. The large packages of gummy worms and bears that I'd pick up every time I rented a movie, you don't get that anymore.
I miss Blockbuster!
