Is it normal to name and talk to your plants?
I'm a huge plant lover and name all my plants and talk to them everyday, as with an animal pet, I'm wondering if other people do it too.. Do you think it's normal to talk to your plants?

I support this, I dont have any plants but if i did I'm sure i would, i mean it is a living breathing thing that you have nurtured and watched grow
It's actually been proven that plants react to both stimuli and peoples voices so it's not all that strange. They're living entities after all even if they cannot communicate.
It can have good effect on how long and well they last so i'd say keep doing it.
I had a rosemary plant that started out about 3 inches tall and grew into a 3 foot bush by the end of summer, i gave gentle hugs to that lovely thing. sadly I didn't take it inside soon enough before winter and it died :(
I used to when I had plants. Even when I got rid of them I couldn't break the habit of talking in the direction of where they used to be, it's weird.
I have way too many plants but I mostly speak to my completely deaf dog and tell her "so and so plant isn't happy" when I'm watering them.
Not the OP but I have a plant I named Herb.
Then there's Lilly, Rose, Daisy, Ivy, Petunia, Holly, and blossom.
No, but you can sing it if you want.
And oh, how could I forget about poor Iris?!?!
Sounds like a love gone-wrong song. Do you really have flowers? I'm more of a big leaf foliage person. Small flowers are too delicate for me, I like big ones as well, like birds of paradise, anturium, lobster-claws (unrelated to the recent lobster conversations haha) and peace lilies... but mainly because of the foliage that comes with them.
