Is it normal to never have a funny dream?

So this morning I woke up pleasantly because I woke up literally laughing from a funny dream. It was about women chasing chickens around a house because they had to cook them... weird but it was hilarious. But I realized, I've never had a funny dream before that made me laugh! I've had good dreams, but not one that made me laugh like this one. Is that normal? Are your dreams usually boring too?

    I usually wake up with a boner, but this disturbs me greatly seeing as I am supposed to be a woman.
