Is it normal to never have had a drivers license by age 30?

I have been driving since I was 14, I've never caused a wreck although my reflexes and knowledge of driving have saved me from numerous occurances. I have only been pulled over twice and both times they said I was speeding when I know I wasn't. I feel like I only got pulled over because I was profiled and both times I let them search my vehicle just to prove I had nothing to hide. So is it normal that I'm 30 with no Drivers License. Am I Alone on this Matter???

How'd you get away with not showing your license when pulled over?

Well I didn't have one so I got ticketed on both accounts and had to pay surcharges.

Driving without a license usually means jail I thought.

In some states it's actually legal (to not have it physically with you). However you must still have it back at the house or wherever and they can look it up because of your registration. My sister got pulled over once and she didn't have it and he let us go. But it was because it was for a broken tail light and we're both white and we're in a rich safe neighborhood

I don't really think there's anything morally wrong with it if you can drive fine, but it's stupid in my opinion to not just go and get one.

If you get pulled over, usually they arrest you and/or drop a huge fine on you. If you're ever in an accident, even if it's not your fault, they will probably go after you for not having a license.

I think it's worth it to just put up with the stupid dmv crap for a few days and go and get your license.
