I always wash new clothes before wearing them.
A- You have no idea who handled it.
B-That new clothes smell is caused by God only knows what kind of chemicals. For all I know it could be pesticides to keep moths off it during shipment.
I'd never even heard of the practice of washing new clothes before a first wear until just now
it's pretty disgusting to not wash them if you know the conditions in which they were stored, shipped and handled before going on display at the stores. what you don't know won't necessarily hurt you i guess
I usually don't wash new clothes, unless it's from a thrift store. Only thrift store clothing I dont wash before wearing is jackets, plus my local thrift store only sells clean clothes. You can tell because it all smells of the same cleaning detergent.
I do to get the smell off them. I hate the way new clothes smell. Also, some of them have dye that bleeds.
I dont wash them brand new, my skin tolerates a whole new level of bullshit now so it's not gonna give me a rash.
Wear it once then wash. Dont see a problem there.
I've heard stories of people going to try on clothes and seeing a skid mark. Definitely wash.
The only few times I never washed them was the point in my life when I was so busy I just took new clothes out and wore them, I wash them mostly because of the scent tho
I never wash new clothes before wearing. The only time that would even be necessary is if you bought it from the thrift store.
I never have washed clothes before wearing them. When theyre brand new they always fit better. No matter how you iron them you can never make them fit like when brand new. Maybe its just because im tall idk but washing always fades the color and shrinks it abit
