Is it normal to not cry when my dog died?

Shit, I didn't cry when my dad died 12 years ago my senior year. I was holding his hand the whole time.

well it was probly old in the end, sickly and sad,remember the happy times when dog was young and active, sad tho:)

I didn't cry when my dog died either. I don't even miss her that much. That's probably because I wasn't very attached to her. Now when my cat dies, that will be a different story...

People handle these kind of things differently. Some people like to show their emotions by crying, some like to talk about anything else and some are just silent.
