Is it normal to not find something funny that everyone else does?
I was watching a movie with some people and at one point everyone was laughing really hard but nothing happened except a guy fell off a building in a non-funny way.

I think it's a good thing and demonstrates someone who thinks for themselves
Sometimes if one person laughs at something serious, everyone else starts laughing about the fact that the first person laughed inappropriately.
Like one time my mate was flicking through the tv channels and on one of the the channels there was a movie where a man was being suffocated with a pillow and my mate just flicked on past the channel like it was nothing and we burst out laughing
Yeah I'm like this all the time
I think it's my sense of humour. I like witty, spontaneous humour that's thought up on the spot, and sarcasm. I find internet memes funny too, if they're cleverly done.
That spontaneity is often (not always) lacking in sketches and stand-up comedy, which is usually just rehearsed pre-written conversations and punchlines that feel forced.
