It's not that I don't take showers, it's that everyone I know really likes taking them, and I absolutely despise it. I still take them, but I really hate doing so. It doesn't feel "liberating" or anything, it just feels like a pain.
While I do like the feeling of being in a shower, I don't like how long it can take sometimes, and you have to do it all the time.
I work from home and live alone, so, have days where taking a shower is just too much a pain to actually get up and do.. I don't make a habit of it, but, if home for 2-3 days in a row..Will sometimes only take one shower..
It may not be normal, but you're not alone. I hate showering as well, and nobody seems to understand me on the internet. But it seems I finally found someone else. I hate showering because:
1. The water doesn't feel good on my body at first
2. Touching your hair with your fingers when showering is uncomfortable for me
3. It takes so long (the whole process takes about 20 minutes for me)
4. I'm weak as fuck, so it's tiring to use my arms and stand up in the shower)
5. I shower in the morning, so I barely have any energy for the shower, which makes the showering experience even worse
There are probably many more reasons, some of which I perhaps can't even explain.
At least rub some purell on yourself so you dont smell like balls all the time
My showers last on average 45 min, when coming home from manual labor job I just stand in near scalding water and it almost feels better than sex...sometimes I make noises I wouldn't even make while having sex, think about that.
Its a pain to clean anything tbh even if its not yourself. Like its a pain to clean dishes or your room, even pieces of clothing. So ya it is totally normal to find washing yourself something that can be a chore especially since its unpleasent to get that first shock from the water
