Is it normal to not remember a dream, but remember how you felt?

I rarely remember my dreams. Even rarer still, I won't remember them, but I will feel weird about certain things the day after. That's what my question is about. For example, one night I had dreams I still don't remember, but I felt different than normal around a kid in my 6th period class. I can't really describe the feeling, but something must've happened in that dream involving this guy, because I didn't feel that way before then at all that day or around him. I never felt that way around him again. It's happened other times too. All I can compare it to is how babies don't have memory of events in their infancy, but they may still have feelings triggered by reminders of the events that they can't pinpoint.

This happens to me all the time. My dreams are so vivid, sometimes I have difficulty remembering if somethings were real or if I dreamt them.
