Is it normal to not want to know if something is normal but just want advice?

With about 50% of my posts on here I don't really want to know if something is normal, I just want advice, but I phrase it into a 'Is It Normal' question because I have to. I don't know any site where you can make an account with a fake e-mail address (so there's no way you can receive e-mails from them, and people you know can't find you) and ask for advice from random people who don't know you.

This is a trend that we've noticed on the site and it's the motivation behind the "poll" feature.

With a poll, you can essentially ask any question you want as long as it's broadly related to IIN. You're not restricted to an IIN yes/no question anymore.

Try it out and let us know what you think via the Feedback form. Thanks!

It's so annoying! They need to make a site called "I need a second opinion"

you're looking for feedback and it's ok
you comparing you thoughts, attitudes etc with other people and that's pretty normal
keep on doing it if its good for you

Advicenators or answerology. And make a second or third email for that site alone.

I do the same too sometimes. I know if its normal or not to me but it has to be said. I'm not sure on websites, but maybe googling some might help
