Is it normal to put flaming hot cheetos in the fridge/freezer?

I absolutely love cold flaming hot Cheetos. I like to keep them in the freezer for a few hours before I open them up and start snacking away. It doesn't freeze the Cheetos, nor does it form any type of ice layer around it… it just makes it cold. Does anybody else prefer their flaming hot Cheetos cold?

My 3rd brother does the same thing with Cool ranch Doritos.

I hate flaming hot cheetos. Not because of the spice, I can handle that. It's the taste, same goes for takkies.

Lots of these spicy chips just have a crap taste.

I kind of feel the same, though I've never tried Takis. The "Flamin' Hot" chips just don't have any other flavor than "hot". That is what I don't like about most foods that are meant to be hot, as their creators seem to value spiciness over flavor. I like a kick to my food, but not so much I can't taste it, and not to where it tastes like nothing but sodium or "hot", if that makes sense. I tried a Buffalo Chicken Mac 'n Cheese at a restaurant the other day and it tasted like pasta drowned in Tabasco. 🤮 I couldn't even taste the cheese. I was expecting a drizzle just to give it the Buffalo flavor (that's what it looked like in the photo, though I should've known better than to trust it, but I was given a dark orange/red pasta), but it was just disgusting. Tasted like pure sodium. I took it home and added quite a bit of heavy cream to it, which made it edible, but still needed more flavor.

The only "spicy" chips I really enjoy are jalapeño potato chips and Cheddar Jalapeño Cheetos. They still have a kick, but also have flavor.

Honestly I just eat dried jalapenos if I want something spicy now. 5 calories a serving is pretty good and its contains the only ingredient it needs.

Look in the croutons section and you'll find crispy jalapenos. I have them with string cheese. Weird I know but it just works as a snack.

Same, I used to like them but both Cheetos and Takis aren't for me anymore.

Idk how people still like that thing.
