Is it normal to retain thinking while drunk

I'm am currently 6 drinks in 1 and a half hours and somehow (thanks to autocorrect) still able to string sentences together. I am able to think of my immediate reprecutions of drinking (I dont work tomorrow) so is it normal to be able to think ahead like this when absolutely plastered, I say this because I can barely make out each letter. Hangover self will appreciate the feedback.

Very normal. When I have a couple of good drinks, I try not to think too much. I do get philosophical, but without any of the usual emotional baggage and often talk about space, spaceships, space exploration and aliens.

It's nice to get lost in your own world in a boozy haze for a few hours. Naturally, this should be done in moderation.
If you get smashed every day, you got a problem.

I also retain my thinking while drunk. Alcohol makes me sedated and happy.

  • 6 drinks and you are drunk, how cute. I wish 6 drinks could get me drunk. I remember when I was 16, 6 vb throwdowns would get me hammered.

Reprecutions? Yeah right, you're thinking & expressing yourself very clearly and rationally

Alcohol is like cigarettes. You have to balance it out where you have a constant of it.

6 drinks of what? And if you can type that coherently you’re nowhere near my definition of “plastered”.

    • High grade Japanese alcohol. Slamming them in quick order fucks you up! But after a recount of the empty cans in the morning it turned out to be 8. Short term memory is drastically reduced when drinking. I dont slur my speech it turns into more of a stutter.

Also autocorrect helps. I just focus on every single letter when typing.
